CHITWAN, Aug 10: District Attorney Office in Chitwan has yet to file a case against Krishna Prapannacharya, an aide of Swami Kamalnayacharya, in a case involving land encroachment.
Krishna, who has been actively participating in protests in Kathmandu demanding that Nepal be declared a Hindu State, has been accused of encroaching lands belonging to CA member Gita Wagle.

Krishna was detained by the authorities 28 days ago on the charge of encroaching lands of Chitwan National Park, but he got a bail on the third day of his imprisonment. Investigation files related to him are at Bharatpur District Court, according to the park officials.
"We carried out an investigation regarding his involvement in land encroachment and provided the report to the district court," informed Tika Ram Poudel, information officer at the Park.
However, District Attorney General Achyut Kuikel informed that no steps are being taken to file case against Krishna. "I have been going through the investigation files and will give my suggestion within four days," he clarified.
As per the Nation Park and Wildlife Conservation act, offenders accused of encroaching lands are liable a fine of Rs 10,000 or two years jail terms or the both.
