CHITWAN, March 29: Nepali Congress Vice-president Bimalendra Nidhi has ruled out possibility of reinstating Nepal as a Hindu state. He also clarified that his party is also not in this favour.
Responding to questions raised by media-persons about the statements of NC general secretary to hold referendum in support of Hindu state, he expressed his ignorance about the issue. "Thinking of a Hindu state is only daydreaming at this point of time," he said at a press conference organised here today by the Chitwan branch of the Nepal Press Union.
About the ongoing Investment Summit, he urged all to make it a success. "We wish Nepal attracts foreign investors for its prosperity. But the government has failed to do its homework for it in a full-fledged manner," he said.
