The House of Representatives and provincial assemblies elections are slated for November 20 this year.

Furthermore, the rebel candidates withdrawing their candidacy officially should pledge to actively work to ensure victory for the official candidates representing CPN (Maoist Center) and other coalition partners, said Chief Secretary Dhakal.

Earlier, the CPN (Maoist Center) had warned to relieve the rebel candidates, their proposers and supporters of their responsibilities and to expel them from the party if they did not renounce their candidacy.
