KATHMANDU, Oct 8: There is a possibility of rainfall in different provinces of the country today. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) under the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the low pressure system in and around Bangladesh is currently influencing the weather in Nepal.
The MFD reports partial to normal rainfall in the Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces this morning.
Rainfall likely in Koshi and Karnali provinces
According to the officials of the MFD, the weather will be partly cloudy to generally clear in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces this afternoon. The MFD said that there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and one or two places in Madhesh and Lumbini provinces.
Similarly, there will be partly cloudy to normal weather in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while the weather will be partly cloudy to generally clear in the rest of the provinces tonight. There is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
MFD officials have advised the public to remain cautious, as weather conditions may continue to change in different parts of the country.
