Public holiday in Kathmandu Valley on Thursday

KATHMANDU, March 25: The government has given public holiday on Thursday to mark Ghode Jatra festival in Kathmandu Valley. A cabinet meeting held on Wednesday took a decision to this effect. The list of public holidays published recently on Nepal Gazette for 2065 B.S. does not mention public holiday on Ghode Jatra festival. Officials at Home Ministry said the decision was made after realizing the mistake.
