KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Chief Minister of Province 1 Bhim Acharya is taking a vote of confidence on today's meeting of the provincial assembly.
The provincial assembly session set to begin at 12:30 PM is scheduled to discuss the confidence motion submitted by the CM.

There are a total of 92 members at the provincial assembly. CM Acharya requires the support of at least 47 lawmakers to secure his position as the CM.
However, the opposition alliance has 50 members in the assembly. If there is no case of floor cross any of the lawmakers belonging to the opposition alliance, CM Acharya won’t be able to secure requisite majority votes to prolong his stay in power.
