Provide physical space for operation of provincial offices

KATHMANDU, Jan 23: The Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) has directed its subordinate offices at the local level to ensure necessary physical infrastructure for the operation of provincial offices.

KATHMANDU, Jan 23: The Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) has directed its subordinate offices at the local level to ensure necessary physical infrastructure for the operation of provincial offices. 


A directive was issued on Tuesday to its subordinate offices at local level to provide physical infrastructure required for the operation of provincial government until permanent structures are in place, shared Section Officer at Staff Administration and Internal Management Section, Rabindra Jung Thapa.

The ministry directed the local levels situated at the temporary province capitals to arrange offices as soon as possible. The ministry issued directive to the local levels to allocate office space from their office buildings for the operation of provincial offices on an interim basis. 


He further shared that the directive was given to the District Coordination Committee, metropolis, sub-metropolis, municipality and rural municipality to provide internal space and structure for the operation of office of Province Chief, office of Chief Minister and provincial ministries.
