KATHMANDU, March 26: Supporters of Kulman Ghising, the recently ousted Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), gathered outside the NEA’s office and staged a demonstration again on Wednesday to voice their disapproval of the government’s decision.
The protest saw passionate crowds rallying for Ghising, who is widely praised for his efforts in stabilizing Nepal’s electricity supply. As the tension escalated, clashes broke out between the demonstrators and the police, with officers pushing back against the crowd.
