Among the many attractions and activities to do in Kathmandu, a flight-seeing tour of Nepal's Himalayas is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. Mountain flights can be enjoyed by anyone, from young kids to adults.
Buddha Air's maiden voyage was an Everest Experience mountain flight on October 1997. Since then, it has flown thousands of passengers to the top of the world, for a once in a lifetime experience to view the mountains.
Buddha Air's Everest Experience mountain flights takes off in the early mornings from Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport. During the 1-hour flight, mountains like Kanchenjunga (8586m), Ama Dablam (8463m), Lhotse (8516M), Cho Oyu (8201m) and Everest (8848m) roll by the aircraft window. The best part is, every passenger is guaranteed a window seat to capture the perfect panorama of the peaks.
If you need a glimpse of what the experience will be like, have a look at the Everest Experience video uploaded on Buddha Air's official YouTube channel. The video features media personality, Bhusan Dahal. Through the video, Buddha Air aims to attract the tourists who will be visiting Nepal in the peak season between October - November.
