KATHMANDU, Jan: SCOPE Nepal, an NGO working in peace, security, environment and social justice, handed over 378 emergency foil blankets to the Nepal Army.
SCOPE Nepal's Abhaya Raj Joshi handed over the blankets to the director of the Directorate of Disaster Management of Nepal Army, Brigadier General Ishwar Kant Mainali amidst a function organized by the Nepal Army, according to a press statement issued by SCOPE Nepal on Thursday.
Receiving the blankets, Brig General Mainali thanked the SCOPE Nepal team. He added that the blankets are easy to carry on the pocket, which will be convenient, in cases of emergency, natural disasters rescue operations.
