Ten teachers from different parts of Nepal were selected for the program organized to exchangw ideas and share experiences with their counterparts of BVB.[break]
"Teachers from both the countries explored pedagogical methodologies and the best practices in each other´s countries and also expressed their interest to share similar experiences in the future through different means of communications," said a statement from Nepali embassy in New Delhi.
Speaking at valedictory ceremony to conclude the program, Tirtha Raj Wagle, Counsellor of the Nepal Embassy, stressed on the importance of teachers´ capacity building and equipping them with skill and knowledge for continuous learning and new teaching methods.
Likewise, Ashok Pradhan, director of BVB, mentioned that Nepal & India shared deep rooted historical and cultural ties and expressed happiness in receiving Nepali teachers for the experience sharing program.
The program was attended by Arjun Pant, Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy & Surendra Thapa, Secretary of the BP Koirala India Nepal Foundation, as well as other distinguished guests, teachers and students of the school.
