KATHMANDU, March 17: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has yet again increased the prices of petroleum products. The price of petrol, diesel and kerosene has been increased by Rs 2 per liter each with effect from Wednesday.
As per the revised prices, petrol has reached Rs 118 per liter while diesel and kerosene have reached Rs 101 per liter. Similarly, the domestic price of aviation fuel has been increased by Rs 2 per liter. Now, the price of aviation fuel has reached Rs 74 per liter.
The corporation still claims a loss of Rs 9.35 per liter on petrol, Rs 5.80 per liter on diesel and Rs 392.82 per cylinder on cooking gas cylinder. Accordingly, it has claimed that the corporation has a fortnightly loss of Rs 1.27 billion.
Earlier, the corporation had increased the prices of petroleum products on February 16 and March 1.
