Press Union honors FNJ councilors

KATHMANDU, April 5: The newly elected central working committee of the Nepal Press Union (NPU) honored the councilors of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) from the Kathmandu valley on Tuesday.



On the occasion, former chairman of the FNJ, Harihar Birahi, and newly elected chairman of the NPU, Kiran Pokhrel honored the councilors. [break]



Birahi suggested that the NPU should begin uniting the democratic journalists who are under the shelter of other political parties.



NPU chair Pokhrel suggested the journalists to work ethically and professionally as the society has faith on media persons.
