KATHMANDU, June 28: President Ram Chandra Poudel has been discharged from hospital on Wednesday. He had been undergoing treatment at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center under Tribhuvan University Institute of Medical Sciences for heart related ailments.
According to a press statement issued by the Office of the President, Poudel was discharged from the hospital after a successful recovery on Wednesday.
Barshman Pun discharged from hospital
Poudel was admitted to the hospital on June 17 due to heart related health complications. A pacemaker has been placed in his heart, according to the hospital.
A group of cardiologists including Dr Ratnamani Gajurel, Dr Bhagwan Koirala, Chandramani Paudel, Roshan Ranjit, Dr Yadav Bhatta, and Dr Sujit Rajbhandari had placed the pacemaker in his heart.
