KATHMANDU, Oct 9: President Ramchandra Paudel has issued the Ordinance to Amend Certain Nepal Acts Relating to Disasters, 2026.
According to the Office of the President, Paudel issued the ordinance on Friday, October 9, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, in accordance with Article 114(1) of the Constitution of Nepal.

A statement issued by President’s Office spokesperson Krishna Bahadur Shahi said the government had recommended the ordinance to update existing laws related to disaster management. The president issued it following the Cabinet’s recommendation.
