‘Prem Pinda’ on Monday Movies

KATHMANDU, March 20 : This Monday, March 23, film lovers will have the opportunity to watch the popular historic film 'Prem Pinda'. This is being screened at the weekly event 'Monday Movies' which is a joint effort of Film Critics Society of Nepal (FICSON), Mandala Theater and Indigenous Film Archive (IFA).

The screening will be held at Mandala Theater in Anam Nagar and will start from 4:30 PM. Directed by Yadav Kharel, the film is about eternal love. Made in 1995, it was produced by actor Neer Shah who also starred in the film alongside Saroj Khanal and Sunny Rauniyar.

The film, an adaptation of Bal Krishna Sama's play, features two of the most well-liked songs from the Nepali film industry. The songs 'Gairi Khetko' sung by Asha Bhosle and 'Ke Bhanu' sung by Abhijeet are popular even today.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with film critic Yangesh and director Kharel.
