GAYA (INDIA), Nov 29: On November 26, 2023, Prem Rawat presented a lesson on ‘Understanding Value of Life – Know Thyself’, to an audience of 375,603, setting a new world record for the ‘largest attendance at a single lecture at a single venue. Prem Rawat traveled to Gaya, India, to present this lecture at the mega world’s largest classroom set up by Raj Vidya Kendra near Annapurna Rice Mill in village Aura of Bodhgaya. He spoke for over an hour helping the attendees reflect on various points of the core subject of ‘Knowing Self’.
This lecture was attended by dignitaries, intellectuals, media and students, and individuals from all walks of life who started arriving at dawn on the 26th November morning. Rawat’s record was acknowledged on stage by Guinness World Records’ adjudicators Swapnil Dangarikar and Pravin Patel, in the presence of esteemed witnesses and subject matter experts. The Guinness World Records team registered this as the record for ‘the largest attendance at a single lecture.’ This officially established the new world record at 375,603 people at this city of Gaya in Bihar, India.

During his lecture he highlighted, ‘the importance of knowing yourself in the world we live in today’. He inspired people to reflect and learn the importance of ‘knowing oneself’ giving importance to self over anything else”.
