President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said that Nepal has a clear view that only the policy of non-interference and non-aggression will contribute to the development and compliance of existing international laws.
President Bhandari mentioned that Nepal has been firmly advocating and adhering to the non-aligned foreign policy for nearly 7 decades and said that Nepal has a clear belief that existing international laws will be followed only in the spirit of coexistence and world brotherhood based on the Charter of the United Nations, the principle of Panchsheel and the policy of non-interference and non-aggression.

Inaugurating a one-day international conference on 'The role of power in the development of international law in the context of Asia' in Kathmandu on Saturday, she also reminded that Nepal is making a solid contribution to the development of international law based on specific historical experience, dimensions of international relations and the fundamental environment of its geographical location.
