Police nab two for harassing tourists

POKHARA, Mar 8: Police have arrested two persons under Public Offense Act for harassing women tourists in Pokhara.



Revealing the two to the media on Monday, police said boatman Tejendra Gauchan, 22, had tried to take advantage of 29-year-old French Cavasse Perrine who was going to visit Talbarahi temple in his boat on Wednesday.



Similarly, Gokarna Khadka, 24, of Milanchowk in neighboring Hemja VDC was nabbed Saturday for harassing tourists.



Meanwhile, police have arrested Praveen Sunar and Amit Gurung with an American pistol and two bullets while they were returning to Lekhnath Municipality from Kathmandu on a motorcycle on Sunday.
