PM to lead 11-member SAARC delegation

KATHMANDU, Oct 30: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai will lead an 11-member delegation to the upcoming 17th SAARC Summit slated to be held in Addu Atoll, Maldives, from November 10-11.



According to a knowledgeable source at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayankaji Shrestha and Acting Foreign Secretary Durga Prasad Bhattarai, among others, will accompany the prime minister.



This is the third time the Maldives is holding the summit of the regional grouping of eight South Asian countries.
