KATHMANDU, Jan 16: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the government will provide income taxi waiver for poultry entrepreneurs.
Speaking at the 3rd Annual General Meeting of Nepal Poultry Federation on Friday, Dahal said that such waiver, albeit for a limited period, will encourage entrepreneurs who have made significant contribution for the development of poultry sector.
Similarly, Shree Bista, president of the federation, said that Nepal has become self-sufficient in poultry products, thanks to proper coordination among the government and the private sector.
The federation, which was established in 2012, has 56 members across the country.
Meanwhile, the 3rd AGM of the federation elected a 20-member Executive Committee under the leadership of Guna Chandra Bista.
