PM orders eateries monitoring

KATHMANDU, Oct 2: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has directed Secretary Leelamai Poudyal to monitor the hotels and restaurants along the highways and take action against the owners if they were found to be selling unhygienic food and fleecing the passengers.



The prime minister issued such a directive after receiving complaints that restaurants are charging passengers higher than the normal prices.



According to the prime minister´s personal assistant Bishwadeep Pandey, the prime minister has asked all to inform his secretariat about issues that are directly related to the people´s lives and need immediate action.
