PM Deuba skips parliamentary committee meeting scheduled to hold discussion on SPP

KATHMANDU, June 19: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has skipped the meeting of the International Relations Committee under the House of Representatives.

KATHMANDU, June 19: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has skipped the meeting of the International Relations Committee under the House of Representatives. The parliamentary committee meeting was scheduled to hold discussion on State Partnership Program (SPP) agreement reached with the US government. 



The meeting was called for 10 AM in the meeting room of the committee. The meeting was scheduled to discuss the implementation of Nepal's foreign policy and the forthcoming visit of Prime Minister Deuba to the United States. Prime Minister Deuba was called to the committee meeting to hold discussions on these issues.

Committee Chairperson Pabitra Niraula Kharel said that the information that the Prime Minister would not attend the meeting was received at 8 AM this morning.
