KATHMANDU, Jan 15: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has stressed the need for unity among everyone at such a time when the COVID-19 is wreaking havoc around the world.
Speaking after the main opposition CPN-UML delegation led by Subash Nembang handed over a memorandum to take proactive measures to control the COVID-19 pandemic on Saturday, Prime Minister Deuba said that all should work together to prevent the third wave of Coronavirus hitting the country.

“There should not be any biases in terms of ‘your party’ and ‘my party’ on the issue of COVID-19. We should all be united to prevent another wave of COVID-19 through our collective efforts,” he said.
On the occasion, PM Deuba said that the government is taking steps necessary to spread awareness at every local level regarding the third wave and the Omicron variant of COVID-19. He claimed that an abundant amount of vaccines have reached the country under his government and that they are working towards fully vaccinating all eligible citizens.
