The current Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki is retiring on August 4. But the Constitutional Council chaired by the Prime Minister has not yet recommended the appointment of the Chief Justice.

CPN-UML has prepared to maintain the obstruction in the meeting of the House of Representatives to be held today at 1PM. The UML said that today's meeting will also be disrupted after the discussion between Prime Minister Dahal and KP Oli on Sunday did not reach any conclusion.
