KATHMANDU, May 13: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is currently holding a discussion with the Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli and President of Rastriya Swatantra Party and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane at Singha Durbar over the issue of parliament obstruction.

After the main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) decided not to allow the government to present its policy and program on Tuesday unless and until the government forms a parliamentary probe committee to investigate home minister’s involvement in cooperative scam, the prime minister initiated a dialogue with his two key allies to discuss the matter of forming a parliamentary inquiry committee.

According to sources, PM Dahal will hold talks with the main opposition party NC after concluding the discussion among the three parties. The NC has been demanding the formation of a parliamentary probe committee on the cooperative funds misappropriation allegedly by Home Minister Lamichhane.

Although PM Dahal is positive about the probe committee, the ruling party UML is in favor of not forming such a committee.
