KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Foreign Minister NP Saud has revealed that the agendas of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's upcoming visit to China are yet to be finalized.
Addressing a meeting of the parliamentary Committee on International Relations on Thursday morning, Foreign Minister Saud explained, "Various ministries continue to submit proposals through the Ministry of Finance. We have emphasized prioritizing workable proposals over an extensive list. So far, none of the agenda items have been finalized."

Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to visit New York to address the 78th session of the UN General Assembly on September 16. He is scheduled to directly fly to Beijing on September 22 following his stay in New York.
Foreign Minister Saud shared that he and the Foreign Secretary are actively discussing and formulating the visit's agenda, consulting with secretaries from various ministries, former foreign ministers, and ambassadors. He emphasized prioritizing implementable proposals over an extensive list of visits.
He further disclosed that drafts of various Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements are in the preparation stage, adding, "As the agenda is still under development, it is premature to make public announcements. We will do so at the appropriate time."
