KATHMANDU, April 24: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal hosted a luncheon in honor of the visiting Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.
The event was held at Kathmandu’s Dwarika's Hotel where Prime Minister Dahal welcomed the distinguished guests from Qatar. High-profile people from both sides joined the luncheon.

Before this, PM Dahal and the Qatari Emir held a bilateral meeting at Soaltee Hotel. On the occasion, the two sides observed the signing and exchange of agreements/MoUs on communications, sports, science and technology, industry, and commerce.
The Qatari Emir paid a courtesy call on President Ram Chandra Paudel at Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday. President Paudel hosted a state banquet in honor of the Qatari dignitary on Tuesday evening.
The visit marks the first highest-level visit from the entire Middle East. The Qatari Emir is scheduled to depart for home at 2:00 PM.
