KATHMANDU, Aug 30: President Bidya Devi Bhandari is hosting luncheon party for the visiting head of states and executive heads of the member states of Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) on Thursday afternoon.
Following the arrival of all guests of the member states, President will host the luncheon party at 12.30 on Thursday afternoon at Sheetal Niwas.

Earlier on Wednesday evening, visiting President of Myanmar Win Myint paid a courtesy call on President Bhandari at Sheetal Niwas. During the meeting, matters relating to mutual interest and concern between Nepal and Myanmar were discussed, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Similarly, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and President of Myanmar Win Myint held bilateral talks on Wednesday. They held talks in the build-up to the 4th summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation or BIMSTEC to begin in the capital on Thursday. Matters relating to various issues of mutual interest and concern were discussed during the meeting, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Likewise, Prime Minster Oli and Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of Bhutan, Lyonpo Tshering Wangchuk, held bilateral talks on Wednesday.
The bilateral talks were held between in course of the fourth Summit of Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC).
