KATHMANDU, June 5: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is briefing Parliament about his visit to India.


He is giving information about his visit to India in the meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR).

After a four-day official visit to India, Prime Minister Dahal returned to Nepal on Saturday.


During his visit to India, PM Dahal held talks with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at the 'one-to-one' and delegation level and reached an agreement between Nepal and India on energy trade and construction of international transmission lines, international payments, construction of economic infrastructure in Nepal, and renewal of the transit treaty.


During the meeting, the Prime Ministers of both countries expressed their commitment to develop friendly relations based on equality, mutual respect and mutual trust in the future.
