During the meeting, PM Bhattarai assured Yadav of forging a favorable atmosphere for talks with other political parties to discuss and end the political turmoil. [break]
"Since there is no provision in the interim constitution for next election following the dissolution of Constituent Assembly, now there is no alternative to move ahead by having mutual discussion and consensus among parties," Bhattarai said.
He also assured President Yadav that he is committed towards forging a favorable environment and sought Yadav´s assistance and support for the same.
In response, President Yadav assured the PM of his support to end the political deadlock.
"As the head of the state, I assure you that I will help and support you, form a favorable condition to forge consensus among parties and move ahead in unison,’ Yadav said.
Meanwhile, PM Bhattarai also met Indian Ambasador Jayanta Prasad and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yang Houlan on Monday and Tuesday respectively. During the meeting both the ambassadors had inquired about the impending political crisis.
In response prime minister briefed them about the current political turmoil; primarily about the dissolution of the CA. The meeting also dwelt on other contemporary political issues.
