During the meeting, Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai and Finance Minister Barshaman Pun apprised the President of the preparations being made for the budget and the efforts for a political consensus on the same.[break]
Talking to reporters following the meeting, Finance Minister Pun said the President inquired about the consensus and urged to table the budget following a consensus.
Minister Pun also disclosed that efforts shall be made to hold discussions with the parties for a consensus tomorrow.
