Addressing the 44th anniversary of National Insurance Company here in the Capital on Wednesday, he said the ongoing transition phase has overshadowed financial agendas.

“I am working to give relief to all people immediately through consensus and collaboration with political parties,” said Adhikari. “I have no personal interests.”

He said that insurance companies should diversify their services.

Services should be expanded covering agriculture, livestock farming and education sectors as well as the people with low income, he said.

Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Dr. Yuvaraj Khatiwada called for expansion of insurance service for social security.

He said that National Insurance should invest in the development sector.

Chairman management committee of National Insurance Rajendra Prakash Lohani said the company will diversify its services and invest in development.

The insurance company established 44 years ago has 1.1 million customers.
