Suman Adhikari, 22, of Tuple-1, had died in a motorcycle accident on Saturday afternoon and his family members have obstructed the services.[break]
According to deceased´s relatives, Adhikari died when a Trishuli-bound bus and a motorcycle heading towards Betrawati collided. But the bus driver said that the motorcycle went out of control and overturned in the drain on the roadside.
Relatives of the victim have started a protest demonstration since morning today, after bus entrepreneur refused to provide compensation reasoning that it was not the fault of the bus driver.
Relatives have been holding a demonstration at the major crossroads and the local market from early in the morning. The halt in operation of transport services has caused inconvenience to passengers heading towards Kathmandu via the district headquarters.
