KATHMANDU, June 12: Smaller streams along the Kankai, Koshi, Kamala and Bagmati Rivers are likely to be flooded, but below flood alert early warning system, a flood update published by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said.
Eastern and central regions of the country will experience light to medium rainfall today and tomorrow. “While Kankai, Koshi, Kamala, Bagmati, Narayani, western Rapti, Babai, Karnali and Mahakali would not cross alert level, the rivers would, nonetheless, continue to rise,” the update said.
The update states that risks of flood were minimal for the next three days.
