DHANUSA, September 2: Political party representatives have stressed on the need to hold the third phase of local level elections in a free and fair manner. 



Speaking at an interaction by the Office of the Chief Returning Officer in Janakpur today, they said all parties should follow the code of conduct in order to ensure that the election is held in a free, fearless and dignified atmosphere. 



Chief Returning Officer of Dhanusa Radha Krishna Upreti said all sides should fully adhere to the code of conduct for free and fair election to 929 posts in the local levels of the district. 

He also called for a role of the political parties in order to make sure that the high percentage of invalid votes seen in the previous two phases of election is avoided this time. 



Election Officer Ramhari Kafley, CDO of Dhanusa Dilip Chapagain shed light on the various aspects of the upcoming election. 



Representatives of NC, CPN-UML, CPN (MC), RPP, RPP-D, Federal Socialist Forum, RJP Nepal, CPN-ML, CPN-United, Nepali Janata Dal and other parties gave assurances to contribute from their respective parties in ensuring that the elections are held in a free and fair manner. RSS
