Director General at the MRP Division, Lok Bahadur Thapa, informed that the 3,220,894 people have received the MRP by mid-April.The government had started providing the MRPs since December 26, 2010. In the past, there used to be long line of service seekers applying to get the MRP; however, this problem has been almost solved in recent days after the government extended service providing hours by 12 hours, Thapa added.
