Open House for understanding film study

Oscar College of Film Study is hosting an Open House event which aims at counseling the students and their parents on a film study on Saturday at its premise, Sukedhara.

Oscar College of Film Study is hosting an Open House event which aims at counseling the students and their parents on a film study on Saturday at its premise, Sukedhara.


The one-day event began from last year will notify the parents about the evolution of film from its beginning to modern VFX technology.

According to Manoj Babu Pant, director of the college, the event will inform on the process of film production.


Meanwhile, attendees will get a chance to observe the evolution of the camera in the event. The college is showcasing several cameras including super sixteen, red and drone. Besides, they will also experience a live acting performance by students in the event.


The event will also showcase photo exhibition, said Nawa Shrestha, coordinator of the college. He further said that the college is showcasing a short film produced by the student in the event.
