PYUTHAN, May 12: One person was found dead at the toilet in the Pyuthan-based Area Police Office on Thursday night.
The deceased has been identified as Bhupendra Giri , a local of Swargadwari Municipality-5. Locals have described his death as being mysterious since he was taken to the police office in the course of conducting a probe into family level argument.

Giri went to the toilet at 1 am on Friday morning, according to Area Police Office, Pyuthan. The police searched for him after he disappeared for a long time after going to the toilet.
In course of search, he was found dead inside the toilet in the police office. Locals have imposed bandha along Pyuthan-Rolpa road section in protest of mysterious death of Giri.
They have demanded that the malefactor be brought to justice and proper compensation be given to the victim’s family.
