One dies, 25 injured in Banke road accident

NEPALGUNJ, July 12: A man died in a road accident at Mahadevpuri VDC based road section in Banke district along East-West highway. The accident took place when a bus (Na 4 Kha 3822) heading to Dailekh from Kathmandu collided with a tripper (Na 1 Kha 3428) coming from opposite direction.

The deceased is the tripper driver Subhas Tamang, 21, of Nuwakot district. Likewise, some 25 passengers were injured in the accident, of whom three are critically injured. All the injured are undergoing treatment at the Kohalpur Teaching Hospital in Banke.
