KAWASOTI, June 17: A person died on the spot and six others were injured when two trucks collided at Naya Belahani stretch of the East-West Highway in Nawalparasi.

The truck (Na 3 Kha 4403) heading west from east rammed a stationary truck (Na 6 Kha 2191) from behind killing Kurdush Koresi, 35, of Baharaich, India, according to Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI), Hari Bahadur Sen of Arunkhola Police Post. Koresi, who was in the parked truck, was squashed under the impact.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the local medical institute. The drivers of both the trucks have been detained by police. RSS
