The deceased has been identified as Anandi Sardar, 28, of Pipariya, Saptari. She died on the spot. [break]
The 11 others including her eight months old daughter Kusum and Hariraj Bhandari, 47, of Letang-7, Morang were injured in the incident.
Following the mishap, the injured were taken to a hospital in Chandranigahapur. Out of them, three have been referred to Kathmandu for treatment.
The incident happened after the bus (Na 4 Kha 3633) fell down from the road being hit by another bus, police said.
Police have detained the driver. The other bus which caused the accident, however, fled soon after the mishap.
