A photo exhibition ‘The Small Heaven’ with an aim to promote tourism in Nepal was organized on Sunday in Bangladesh’s second largest city, Chittagong.
According to Bishnu Kanta Ghimire, the coordinator of the exhibition, the one- day photo exhibition showcased Nepal’s culture, nature and historical places. Likewise, it featured activities that promote adventure tourism in Nepal.

Ghimire informed that the Bandipur UNESCO Club in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Islamabad of Chittagong organized the exhibition. He added, “The exhibition was part of celebrating 25th anniversary of Rotaract Club of Islamabad of Chittagong. The exhibition was held in Bangabandhu Hall where around 1,000 visitors observed the exhibition.”
Meanwhile, the organizer also announced to organize the ‘Adventure Nepal 2020’ in March 2020. According to Tikaram Paneru, the president of Bandipur UNESCO Club, the main objective of the event is to promote Nepal in international arena as the hub for adventure sports.
Bandipur UNESCO Club has been conducting several programs including adventure camp and cultural exchange program with various organizations of Bangladesh every year since 2013 to promote tourism of Nepal.
