KATHMANDU, Dec 17: Photo.Circle, in collaboration with the Jane Goodall Institute Nepal and Indigenous Without Borders, is currently organising a photo exhibition titled ‘Who Does the River Belong To?’ at Nepal Art Council. The exhibition, which runs until December 22, explores the deep connection between indigenous communities and rivers, shedding light on the ongoing struggles over water rights and preservation of the environment. The expo emphasizes the importance of protecting rivers and their ecosystems while giving a voice to those who rely on them for survival.
Visitors can experience stunning visuals, powerful storytelling, and interactive displays that offer insight into the rich cultural and spiritual significance of rivers for indigenous people. The exhibition aims to raise awareness about the crucial role these waterways play in both preserving heritage and fighting against environmental threats.
