SURKHET, July 14: Police have arrested a person with the possession of brown sugar (an adulterated form of heroin). 42-year-old Lila Ram Puri was arrested from his house at Pipira in Birendranagar Municipality-11 on the charge of possessing 180 milligrams of brown sugar.
According to Police Inspector Kanak Sahi, “We found 180 milligrams of brown sugar packed in two different plastic bags under his bed”. We have also recovered Rs 50,380, a mobile phone, a tablet and a digital weighing machine, Shahi said.
