KATHMANDU, Aug 15: Nepal Police have arrested eight people in possession of brown heroin (Brown sugar) from Koteshwor, Kathmandu Metropolitan-32. According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Navraj Adhikari at the District Police Range, Kathmandu, a team deployed from the Police Sector in Koteshwor recovered 33.76 grams of brown sugar from them.
The arrestees are 27-year-old Rafis Awale, 19-year-old Risaf Shrestha, 21-year-old Ramon Rai, 33-year-old Amit Kumar Chaudhary, 36-year-old Pramod Rai, 28-year-old Mehrman Bhujel, 27-year-old Timpal Tamang, and 29-year-old Bhim Kumar Chemjong.
One arrested with brown sugar
The police also recovered eight Tramadol tablets and Rs. 55,000 in cash from the arrestees. The Police Circle in New Baneshwor is conducting further investigation.
