For the season, Syakar Company, the sole distributor of Honda and Hero Honda Motorcycles in Nepal, has launched an exciting offer. On the purchase of any Honda bike and scooter, the customer will get a scratch card and a bumper draw coupon.
The scratch card will guarantee cash prize ranging from Rs 4,000 to Rs 100,000. One lucky winner of the bumper draw will get Honda Brio car.
Hansaraj Hulaschand and Company, the authorized distributor of Bajaj bikes for Nepal, has launched a similar scheme for its customers.
Every purchaser will get a scratch card which can win them Rs 5,000 to Rs 100,000. One of the lucky winners will get Rs 10 million as a bumper prize.
´The sale has definitely increased with the introduction of the scheme. However, we are expecting the sales to rise further,” said Ashish Sharma, the manager of Hansaraj Hulaschand and Company.
Morang Auto Works, the sole distributor of Yamaha and another major player in the two-wheeler market of Nepal, has introduced “Yamaha Mukti Offer” which provides customers with cash discounts ranging from Rs 6,000 to Rs 10,000.
“The sales have surely attracted the attention of customers but haven´t met our expectations,” said Suraj Manandhar, the deputy general manager of Yamaha Division, Morang Auto Works.
October and November are the two months when the highest number of automobiles are sold in the market. Due to the schemes offered by the companies for their customers in the season and the increased purchasing capacity due to festival bonus, about 35 percent of the total sales of the year take place during these months.
