Most of the companies have launched combo offer under which customers get combined offer of Internet, Internet TV and cable service. Different ISPs like Websurfer, ClassicTech, WorldLink, Subisu, and Vianet among others has announced Dashain offer to lure customers.Websurfer is providing two months bonus and waiving off installation charge on annual subscription of TV Net - an online TV service. Similarly, it has offered special discounted rates for wireless Internet service outside the Kathmandu Valley.
Roshan Sangroula, business development manager of Websurfer, said they were providing free service for two months as a Dashain gift to customers so that they can enjoy TV Net for 14 months by paying price of 12 months only.
For annual subscription of TV Net with 512 kbps speed, customers have to pay Rs 12,530. Similarly, TV Net with 1mbps speed is available at Rs 20,533 exclusive of VAT. For wireless Internet outside the valley, the company is providing Internet with 256 kbps and 512 kmpbs speed at Rs 810 and Rs 1,350 per month, respectively, exclusive of taxes.
Similarly, Subisu Cablenet -- the Internet, network and television service provider -- has announced 'Fast & Clear TV' offer under which customers can get hybrid set-top box, two-month subscription of unlimited Internet of 768 Kbps, splitter, basic plus package that has 95+ digital package and 8+ HD channels, cable modem, 20 meters cable, registration and activation as well as installation fee waiver at Rs 7,499.
Likewise, Vianet Communications has introduced attractive offers for its FiberHome subscribers as part of its festive scheme and 16th anniversary offers. Aziz Shrestha, head-home sales, marketing and promotions, Vianet, said the company has offered one month, three months and annual package for home users.
On annual subscription of Home Internet Package, Vianet is providing double data, free installation and set-up, free FTTH cable and two months of free Internet service. It provides free installation and set-up, free fiber cable, and one-month free Internet service on monthlong and three-month Home Internet packages.
ClassicTech, as part of its Dashain offer, is providing, free Fiber router worth Rs 10,000 on subscription of its FiberMax Internet service. Under the officer, subscribers get 720 GB data for a year at a speed of 15 mbps at Rs 1,100 per month. Once the data is consumed, consumers get unlimited Internet at 256 kpbs.
Similarly, WorldLink Communications has been providing up to 2.8 times more volume in volume-based plans and 50 percent more bandwidth in unlimited plans starting October 6.
