KATHMANDU, August 1: The Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP) is going to participate in the government of Sudurpaschim Province. The NUP is ready to join the government after a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Tuesday morning.
According to an agreement, the NUP will have one minister, one state minister and two parliamentary committee chairpersons in the province.
NUP to participate in Sudurpaschim govt
It is said that the NUP will be given the Minister for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives and the Minister of State for Land Management, Agriculture and Cooperatives. After the discussion on Monday and Tuesday, the NUP agreed to participate in the Sudurpaschim government. Prime Minister Dahal had a discussion with Sudurpaschim Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah, NUP Chairman Ranjita Shrestha, leader Reshlamal Chaudhary and others.
Earlier, the NUP was preparing to participate in the Sudurpaschim government on July 24.
