RAJBIRAJ, Aug 18: The number of snakebite patients has been increasing in Saptari district after the flood in local streams and rivers.
More than 100 people have suffered snakebite in different municipalities and rural municipalities in the district recently.
Chief at Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, Chuman Lal Das, said around 15 patients suffering from snakebite visit the hospital every day and it is an increasing trend.
He complained, "There is lack of beds in the hospital as the number of snakebite patients visiting the hospital is increasing every day." RSS
